It's unfortunate that Robert Page had to withdraw his national collection though.

When we were in the temporary location for the alpine collection at Harlow Carr Gardens last week, we were both amazed at the large range of alpine plants that are available.  And this was only two small tables they had set up, so the full collection must be enormous.

I can see that Bob Page could be an extremely good source of information for alpine questions.

I know that Kathy's interest was peaked when she was looking at the collection at Harlow Carr.  ::)

George, I know that you appear to have got the bug from seeing the alpines at RHS Wisley on your garden tour.  Have you made any moves to get your collection started yet?
