Title: Eremurus himalaicus

E. himalaicus is a perennial, loves rich, well drained soil, prefers full sun, the flower is white and blooms in july-august
it can reach 170 180 cm. Family : Asphodelaceae

yes George, actually this year is the first time that bloomed and I actually expected it to bloom much taller....it only reached about less than a meter ( maybe next year it will reach the "adult stage"

Are all the photos of the same flower spike?
If yes, I like how you have given us a series of photos over a period from 18th May until 22nd June Nicola.

yes George they're all about the "only" spike that bloomed... I actually try to do this (evolution of the blooming) as much as I can as I find it more interesting
