You'll be like a child with a new toy now Phil  :D

And you'll certainly appreciate it a lot more when you've had to suffer the 'slooowww' woes of dial-up.  I know we were thankful to see the back of dial-up in our household.

Laurie.

We cannot have Broadband via a 'Dongle' in the computer. All the companies tried so far say "We do not recommend our ptoduct for your postcode."

Great news Phil. You must be delighted!

What a pity you are havind go much trouble, Eric. Is there any sign on the horizon? Surely they will bring broadband to your area at some stage.

Lucky Phil.
They are not going to replace the existing lines for 4 houses. We are seriously considering giving up Internet altogether. At present it is not worth the cost of it.For example if this goes through I will have to disconnect and reconnect to go anywhere else.

We have researched all things. "Not recommnded for this post code" is what it says on most of them. The ones it does not say that , well from talking to people nearby, do not work here either. Most of the time a mobile phone does not work here.
