Title: Ideas Genie Pro 6 - Check for updates

A new batch of program updates for Ideas Genie Pro 6 (http://www.ideasgenie.co.uk) have been released.

Under the Help tab on the Ideas Genie Pro 6 menu, start the program “Check for updates”.
There should be (at least) 5 items for download.
 
Let me know how downloading and installing goes please.

When downloaded and installed:

• Start Ideas Genie Pro (or Bonsai Genie)
  Start the program> Special - GA912. It should indicate Version 11 in the title bar.
  Run the program.
  You should get a message: 2 changes were made (2 new files have been added to your system)
• Start the program GA604-Plants and Gardens. It should indicate Version 27 in the title bar
• Start the program GA607-Articles. It should indicate Version 4 in the title bar
• Start the program GA623-Slide Show-Plant Photos. It should indicate Version 4 in the title bar
• Under Help tab, start the program GA600-About Bank Genie. Item 1 (Database File version) should say Issue Date= 22/03/2022

Not sure if your Ideas Genie installation is the latest version?
Click the Help tab on the Ideas Genie menu and click on About Ideas Genie.
The latest version looks like this:

If you have an older version of Ideas Genie, you can choose an option to upgrade to Ideas Genie Pro 6 on this page:

Did this. Did get a Message that my security set up was not happy as the downloads were not signed (?). But I ignored that and downloaded anyway. No problems. Thanks George.

Good work Eric. Thank you for your report.
I'd like to hear from other Ideas Genie Pro 6 (http://www.ideasgenie.co.uk) users on this.
If anyone cant get past obstacles, please let me know.
George in Australia has not managed the "Check for Updates" and downloads yet so I will provide an alternative solution.

I have also installed the updates.  Got the same warnings as Palustris but carried on regardless.
I can't see any obvious changes.  Do you have a quick summary please?

Good work Nigel!

The changes may not be apparent but Ive spent a good part of the winter months working with Ideas Genie Pro 6 (http://www.ideasgenie.co.uk) myself on my own garden when testing the changes.
Also fixed a few bugs.

I'll do a summary of the most significant changes as time allows - or on rainy days. Currently, the weather is too good not to be in garden.
