Title: Desfontainia spinosa

First (and probably last) flower this year on this plant, it is also the first time we have ever had a flower. 8)
Native to Chile

Excellent photo, Malcolm. Its a very pretty flower I have to say.
First time you had a flower, but how many? Hopefully there were more than that one?
Is that the trunk/main stem in the background of the photo, immediately behind the flower?

Yes it is, and we had the grand total of TWO flowers  :-[

Like my pear trees before they began to mature.
I called them Pair trees ;)

Hopefully more next year Malcolm. At least they did more than enough so you could get a real good photo!
