A New garden tour
« on: February 18, 2009, 01:08:04 PM »
I have done a First Garden tour set of pages based on photos taken when we arrived. or within the first few months at least.
Is there room on the server? I think there are about 30 pictures.

Do you mean as a WPG or on the forum Eric?
Either way, we'll find space for them

As a Web pages thing. I have run out of room to a large extent on Photobucket as as you know sending pics over the Dialup is a bit fraught.

Are the photos you want to use on the Flash you returned recently?

No, I think they were all just unnamed flowers. I have only Scanned these ones in this last couple of days.

Go ahead with your WPG.
I'll send the Flash. Copy to that and I will upload it to the server.
Hows that?

Do the WPG project first, Eric, and copy the finished WPG folder onto the flash.
That way, I'll be able to FTP the whole folder as is onto the server.

Some things is easier than others, once I remembered how to do it.
Can you change the  words PLANT LIST to Photo List?

Use Notepad
In your WPG folder, Open the file:
Plantmenu.htm

The first few lines look like this:
<html>
<head>
<LINK REL=STYLESHEET TYPE="text/css" HREF="plantlist.css">
<title>Plant List</title><base target= "Plant Details">
</head>
<body bgcolor="#A8B0EA"><CENTER>
<h1>Plant List</h1></center>

Change that last line to:
<h1>Photo List</h1></center>

I have managed to change the size of the over large pictures in  http://www.ideasforgardens.net/Berghill-FGT/ so it looks ok now to me at least.
