The 2021 Ideas Genie Pro 6 Lessons project.
Subject: Linking photos to Plants and Gardens - using the program Link Photos-GA630

You can link photos to plants using the program Plants and Gardens-GA604.
You begin by selecting a plant, then find a photo on your computer to link it to.
You can link photos to garden areas using the program Garden Area Photos-GA605.
You begin by selecting a Garden Area, then find a photo on your computer to link it to.

The program Link Photos-GA630 has a different approach.
You begin by finding a folder with photos on your computer and decide what to do with each photo in the folder.
You click on a photo, decide what type of photo it is, and link it to either a Plant or a Garden Area.

This program was designed for use after a photo shoot.
e.g. You have just uploaded your new photos to your computer after a tour around your garden taking photos of plants in bloom and parts of the garden which are looking good.

Hi George.  In GA630 is it possible to link a photo to a particular specimen?

Yes it is Nigel.

However, the plant you select in GA630S01 must have at least one specimen linked to the plant before using the program GA630.
If the selected plant has specimens then the Specimens tab is activated when you get to screen GA630S03.
You can click then click the Specimens tab and select a specimen to link to the photo.

Is that OK?
