The flowers on this Arenaria are less than 2 mm across. Would have to go out to the Alpine house to find its name, not the usual one of A. tetraquetra though.

This is a form of Iris cristata called Capt. Collingwood-ingram. It is about 4 cms across and the same height.

I guess you've got more control over the environment in your Alpine House. Outdoor plants must be so confused by the ultra-changeable weather conditions we're experiencing at the moment. At least you're getting a good consistent display indoors anyway.
