What a start to the New Year!
After a lovely family festive period, we took Tara to Belfast Int. Airport to fly back to Manchester. On the way home we stopped at a Supermarket. The wind had risen to a ferocious gale - Eleanor had arrived. The drive home was frightening - branches, wheely bins and lots of debris strewn around. Our thoughts were with Tara and anyone who had to travel in such conditions.
Her plane took off a little behind schedule and had to circle Manchester airport for some 15 mins before landing -safely!
It was such a relief to get her phone call on her arrival home.
It seemed to be widespread. I hope everyone came through it safely!
