Hydrangea panticulatum
« on: September 26, 2008, 12:46:46 PM »
This is an Hydrangea panticulatum
I am not sure of the exact variety, although we have always know it as The Bride. However, I cannot find any of this plant with that name
'October Bride' or 'Brussels Lace' don't quite seem to be the same
It is a very pretty addition to the garden

There are over 30 forms of Hydrangea paniculata, all much the same as each other in full flower. I think the differences are more striking as the flower ages, except perhaps for Limelight which has a definite greenish/yellow tinge to the flower.
