Yes, I agree Nicola. These are excellent plants.

I grow some Cosmos every year from seed. They are so easy to germinate and to grow.
This year, some of mine have reached 2m and more. They grew and grew before starting to flower and were at their peak as recently as a couple of weeks ago. They are still going and its now November.
Date of your photos show as 9th, 14th and 22nd October.
Are yours still going in lovely Rome?

"STILL GOING" is for sure a big word George...although we still have 16 18 degrees.. it starts to get cold in the nights (talking about min 6 7 degrees) still some chrysantemums, some viburnums starting early etc it is really very rare that snows here.. maybe once every ten fifteen years.
