You're really getting it rough down your way Eric.

Up here we had a very light dusting at about 8am this morning, which soon melted and dried up.

We seem to have escaped the worst of what the rest of the UK is experiencing - up to now anyway.

Laurie.

I would describe that as a light dusting to be honest. We get snow like this almost every year. It usually only lasts a few days and then disappears. We are snowed in or actually 'iced' in at least three times every winter without fail. It just means we take care what we plant.

Brrr!
We escaped the snow until Thursday. My garden is under a couple of inches today. We pulled out two sleighs and had a lot of fun in the snow - the children of all ages and generations!
