Title: Montana Clematis
Post by: greenfinger on December 05, 2005, 07:49:48 AM
For gardeners who want to know more about the general features of this group of montanas. Which montanas are available on the market? What are their strong and weak points and which are best suited for a particular purpose? How to cultivate them and how best to display them?
With a lot of history about the group in general and each cultivar in particular.
The history starts with its finding on 11 april 1802 in Nepal by Francis Buchanan. It was introduced in Eruope in 1805, so it celebrates its bicentary this year.
Abundantly illustrated with colour photos.
