Yes, I'm a fan of them as well Nicola.

They tend to die over winter in my garden, but this year my latest purchase (2 years ago) is still with me and thriving.
In flower at the moment. Seems a bit strange to allow it to flourish while digging out lookalike Dandelions growing everywhere - an annual event ::).

What is the white flower in the photo? (very prominent in the first photo).
I have it as well - its bulbs spreads everywhere and burrow down to Australia!
I do like it, but wish I could manage it better.
Not in bloom here yet - perhaps one or two weeks behind yours Nicola. How nice it must be to live in Rome ;D

Thank you Nicola.
That definitely is not the one in my garden, even though this web site says its a wildflower of Ireland:

I have most of them ::)
