Ive had this request by email:
Is there also a facility to display a net worth over all the accounts entered into the program.
The answer was, No, but its a very good idea, and I'll provide the facility.
I asked for a suggestion as to how this would look. Heres the reply:
As far as my original question regarding a "Net Worth" facility, all that is required is a screen displaying each Bank, Savings, Credit Card account along with their current credit or debit details displayed as totals and at the foot of the screen a net worth which is obviously the sum of those totals.
Account Description Account No Credit Debit
Halifax Current Account 12345677 £xxxxx.00
Barclays ISA 87654329 £yyyyy.00
Halifax Web Saver 56643219 £ tttm.00
Visa Barclay Card 33556677 £675.00
Morgan Master Card 63547586 £219.76
C&G Savings 12456329 £669.00
Net Worth £zzzzzzz.00
I plan to do that over the next week or so.

An excellent idea. It will complement my expense summary request.

With a little apology for raising an old thread..
Is it possible to add an option to save the output from the Net Worth program to a file (as a.csv or as .xls) rather like the Transaction Analyser is able to do.
What I want to be able to do is compare my Net Worth between some points in time. - For example at the end of each year, for as many years as I have history, or each quarter or month end, or comparing the latest date with the beginning of this year.
So if I could do a number of reports of Net Worth as at (date) then I could load them side by side into Excel and see how much my fortune is growing (or shrinking) by

Hi Lee
A very good suggestion.
I was actually planning to something in Version 5, so you could actually save the data within Bank Genie itself.
Now you requested it, I will provide the csv and XLS options as well.
