Title: Brother pt1000 printer help
Post by: roiphil on July 01, 2014, 06:52:10 PM
Long time no hear, hope everyone is well, now i bought a hand held brother pt1000 label printer from lidl, it prints all fine and that apart from when i print a label it runs off about 20mm of tz tape before it starts to print, i have set my margins on it but that did not alter the space at the beginning of text, if i remember correctly some members here use one to label there plants does yours have this 20mm tape wastage before printing, it only does it on individual labels not tried chain printing yet, have looked through the instructions but i cant see anywhere on how to reduce this gap prior to printing,

Yes, that's the same as the PT2730 which I use Phil.
Chain printing is the most economical method.
When you print, there is a prompt screen. Click Preferences and you will be able to set the Chain option.
