This is one of the most spectacular fall colour specimens in my collection.
It is simply luminous!
Ive decided to keep my Acers in pots, so I can move them around for display purposes.
These photos were taken before the grass was cut - gotta strike when the iron is hot!

http://www.ideasforgardens.net/ideasguy/20071006/RIMG0018.JPGOn the left, Poached egg plants give a fantastioc display in May/June. Then they die off, look a bit unsightly and drop seed. I planted my favourite pale yellow Argyranthemum (grown form cuttings taken in January!! and they rooted in abundance) in the same area his year. As you can see, the greenery is the new Poached egg plant seedlings which will flower next year.

In that plot are a few of my favourite plants - Argyranthemum and Osteospermum. More about them later!
