Problems registering

George,
 
Problems, I copied the files which overwrote the existing ones using explorer.
Ran Bank Genie from the desktop to be confronted with the following.
 
Error Executing Menu Code. Error Using MUGREA File
 
Do "C:\Program files\bank genie\agre.FPT is missing or is invalid
 
Memo file is missing/invalid
 
Error Number 41

 
After this I was not able to close Bank Genie as FOX Pro would not let me. I had to switch off the computer manually.
 
Now Bank Genie will not work at all.

I hope my data is not lost.

HELP!!!!!

The files I sent are system files, so there should not be a problem with your live data files..

Give me half an hour Bill, and I'll wrap those files up in a special Download file.
It will have an installer, which will put them into the installation folder.

Updated later to say:
Ive sent you the link to those files.
Ive done the download myself as a test, and it went OK. Bank Genie working fine.

Important Message to all
Switching off your computer when any "Genie" software is running can damage files.

The proper way out if you get locked in a frozen screen situation is to follow the procedure given on this page:

Its for the Cannot quit Visual Foxpro error, but it applies generally for other difficult situations.

I suggest you add it to your favourites, so you can find it easily.

The key to success in running this procedure is to be patient. Response can be slow at each stage, but it does the job safely.
