Croft Castle
« on: October 01, 2015, 07:49:20 PM »
Croft Castle near Leominster.
Not very spectacular gardens, but a lovely spot. Only went up and round the Hillfort today. We did not have the energy to go round the rest of the estate. Lots of fascinating tree trunks. Oh and a load of bull at the end.

It looks a very interesting place Eric. I'm sure those borders are packed with lots of plants I would enjoy. Still lots of colour from autumn flowering varieties -  even better earlier in the season perhaps?

Those trees are fascinating :D I can see you were taken by them. I'm wondering how they manage to stay upright - they are well "excavated" and well aged.

And the final photo - was that a close encounter with a live ba ba Bull???

If you can make up a CD, I'd like to do a little demo with the new Web Page Generator in Ideas Genie Pro 6

The bull was in the field with the foot path, quite worrying as there there calves in it as well.
If I had waited a little the picture could have been with the post in a much more intimate area of the animal.
What do you want on the CD?

Bulls will be bulls ::)
Was there no fence between you and the bull?

The original photos if you can get then all onto a CD Eric, please.

No fence, nothing but a load of flat hats! (Tried a dozen till I found my own!)
Will try. I do have more pictures of the place, of the bits we did not visit this time if you want them included.

No fence? Dangerous!!

I'd certainly appreciate those extra photos as well Eric and anything else you can fit onto a CD.

Will try. Out all day tomorrow and need to garden on the last dry day, Sunday. So will have a go on Monday for posting on Tuesday. Don't hold yer breff, this DVD writer on the machine is very temperamental.

Another place we have visited in the long distant past, Eric. Your photos brought it back to me. Alas, it is out of our travelling range these days but it still good to travel by proxy :)
