Duplicate (Same Genus) button
« on: November 13, 2010, 01:24:27 PM »
Could you clarify the intention of the 'Duplicate (Same Genus)' button in GA100S36 please George? I've never used it or tried it (in case I mess something up in doing so) but is it a timesaver that reproduces the Family/Genus data in a new screen so that there's only need to imput new species or variety data when adding a new plant in the same genus? Or does it have a quite different function?

Its a quick start for adding a new plant, Trevor, based on the name of the plant you choose to duplicate from (the one in edit in GA100S36)
Best to go ahead and try it. You wont muck anything up :)

I hope other members are confident with that button/feature.
I use it extensively.

Yes, its very useful when adding a list of cultivars to a Genus or a species.
