Interface to Bank Genie (Cambridge Edition)
« on: April 11, 2009, 09:18:46 AM »
I'm now designing the menu for this new edition of Bank Genie
Ive asked Eric if has any photos of Bank Buildings with fine achitecture to use in the initial screen, so thought I'd widen that to allow other members to contribute.
Its the image users will see as soon as they start Bank Genie.

I'm suggesting we post ideas here so all members can see, and help select.

Perhaps being the Cambridge Edition should have a picture that shouts Cambridge at you, for eaxample: -

or perhaps

On the other hand I would quite like a detail such as

or even

But perhaps the last two are too subtle.

Anyway there are one or two Cambridge shots here: - http://www.flickr.com/photos/erichardyuk/sets/72157594495962482/

Fine photos, Eric, and thank you very much!.
Ive experimented with 1) and 2) and both look good.
2) takes the edge in my opinion, and I can put some text on the "shadows" in the foreground of the photo (Bank Genie - Cabrideg Edition)
Not sure I can use photos of Cambridge Uni in the final release, but they are fine for "discussion purposes"
Barry will be back from a break tomorrow so I'll ask him to have a look.

In that initial screen, I could make a little collage of photos  ;)

To throw into the selection pot, any photos of good old fashioned Bank Buildings Eric (or anyone)?

I will keep my eyes open when out with my camera. I have one in mind and hope it hasn't changed.
