Title: How to get a Christmas Cactus to flower
Post by: ideasguy on October 25, 2013, 11:05:44 AM
Pass the responsibilities on to your better half ;D ;D

We bought this Christmas Cactus (well, Schlumbergera to be precise) last year in full bloom. A short time later all the blooms and buds wilted and died :'(

My wife is very good with house plants (takes after her Mum!).
She placed this plant in the shady side of the front porch and watered it sparingly and continuously all year.
To our delight, it has burst into bloom.
Heres the pics I took this morning:

Great bit of TLC work involved there George, which obviously worked a treat.

Kudos to your 'better half'  :D
