When I try to surf on Google, I get this every so often:
Quote
Before you continue…

To be consistent with data protection laws, we’re asking you to take a moment to review key points of Google’s Privacy Policy. This isn’t about a change that we’ve made – it’s just a chance to review some key points.

We’ll need you to do this in order to continue using Google services.

No alternative,just one button: Next
I click Next.
In the next window, there are two options at the bottom, Other Options and I Agree
I click Other Options
I am then presented with the things Google do when I surf.
Ive gone through the key points a number of times, and blocked some features I don't want.

After that, all is OK for a while, then Bang - up it comes again.

Am I right in suspecting that they want to bug me so much that I finally "Submit" and click the Agree button without choosing the options they don't want me to take?

I suspect so. Sounds rather like the cookies farce.

Has anyone else seen the message?

Once you click "I agree" (without choosing options) I expect it will not appear again.
Who ever has time to read their T&C's.
Not much point really, since you have to agree before you can use their services.

Maybe its a personal vendetta. I'm getting this message today:

To be consistent with data protection laws, we're asking that you take a moment to review key points of our Privacy Policy, which covers all Google services and describes how we use data and what options you have. We'll need you to do this today.

and after a successful start earlier today (using Internet Explorer 11) the original message (at the beginning of this topic) has been "presented" once again.
Tried Firefox browser. It allows me to surf at will. ::)
