Puzzle No 4
« on: August 05, 2006, 11:58:12 PM »
What the prostrate plant with the chocolate leaves in the center foreground of this photo.
Taken today in my back garden - 5th Aug 06.
Its been flowering about a month now
Its evergreen (everbrown actually) but the flowers die off leaving that central tuft over winter. Its hard enough to have survived the first winter in my garden.

And heres a close up of the flowers.

While you're guessing, I'll go off and find its name!

It looks like a geranium to me. How about nodosum. Sorry I haven't been around lately. I'm trying to organise a move to a house with a smaller garden.

Hi Sylvia
Good to see you here again! Good luck with the house and garden move! I dont envy you doing that. At least its a good time to transplant, if you can take some of your favourites with you.
What does the new garden look like? Is it already planted or do you have a nice clean sheet?

RE: The puzzle. I'll reply tomorrow when I get back to plant mode.
