Many thanks for posting this Eric!
Some absolute treasures there 8)
That little Aster looks interesting!
Is it difficult to grow?

I did learn that
Quote
The name ‘Aster’ derives from the Latin for ’star’

The aster is probably better named A.e. var. prostratus. It is a shrubby kind with quite woody stems. It is dead easy to grow and propagate from cuttings
There is an Aster lateriflorus var. horizontalis which has pink ish flowers. I have not got that one.

I'd like to try both of those Eric.
At this time of year, I always wish I had more Asters!
Mind you, I have been adding to them each year.
Now you have prompted by posting this topic, a Photo shoot here is required :D
Still plenty of colour around. Penstemons have been excellent this year and still going.
It was beautiful before the rains came last week.

We had a lovely pink aster last year (can't remember the name) but for some reason this year it hasn't appeared.  Something's killed it off  :-\  :(

Our penstemons are also doing well George.

We've had a few days of heavy rain over the weekend and up to today, so they're all getting a bit of a battering.

So, how about some more. The asters are all now unlabelled so no idea what they are.
Some of our Asters and Hydrangeas and Oxalis.
