That is an eye catching plant Nicola.
I first seen it in the gardens here:

It was during one of my photo shoots so I have a photo somewhere!
They had it on sale so I bought one. Its not fully hardy here in Ireland. It lasted a few years before finally perishing.
If I seen one on sale I'd buy it again ;D

I have the variegate version of this plant.  It is quite small and flowers late in the year, round about the time I have to take it into the cold greenhouse for overwintering.  The foliage is quite pretty alone though, but better when the pretty flowers add to it.
