That looks very like a deciduous Azalea to me. Do you have a name for it?
If it is, its very early in flower. Over here, I imagine it will be at least another month.

An absolute stunner! Unfortunately I don't have the name of it as it was in the garden when we moved here but according to the previous owner, it was planted about 35 years ago. Yes, it is deciduous and all our azaleas are now coming out and a couple have already finished - our flowering season appears to be a lot earlier than most places. I assume it's because we are so much warmer at the end of the country! I love this time of the year in the garden.

That's the most magnificent and quite popular variety here in Ireland.
