GA100S23 is a addon suggestion possible
roiphil:
George in GA100S23 you have a date boxes for seed sown date, planted date, is it possible to add the same thing for, seed stratified and seed germinated date, at the moment I am keeping notes in the notes section for that specimen for these 2 whereas if they could be added I think it would be a good idea, so the layout would be something like
origin
stratified (new)
seed sown date
germination date (new)
planted date
in effect you are adding 2 new selection date boxes, is this possible
I have just stratified some Norway spruce for 4 weeks and germinated in 3 days in the hotbed, now we see how they survive after germination
thanks

Try this instead Phil.
In BS100S23, click Specimen Events button.
Then click Add an Event.
You can then record that additional information (with dates) as Events.
Do you recall the Vegetables Project we did some time ago?
It explained how to record Germination times using Events.
Focus on this page:
http://www.ideasgenie.com/Vegetables/TasksEventsSheet/taskseventssheet.html
Here's the intro:
--- Quote ---To help monitor the tasks and events, I developed a Tasks & Events Tracking system to the specifications of a professional grower.
The general idea is that you print off the Tracking Sheets for use in the greenhouse or garden and record progress as you carry out your tasks, and observe events.
You will find that the information on your tracking sheets will build up and provide a very concise and useful history , as each date in the growth cycle of each specimen is recorded.
You should update your computer records regularly from the Tracking Sheets, and print latest versions as required
--- End quote ---
That should work for you.

What can you not find in BS100S23 Phil?
The Specimen Events button is on the right of that screen.
Note! It ONLY appears when you are EDITING a specimen. You have to add a specimen before you can record events.
After you click that, the Add an Event button appears at the bottom of the screen.
