Title: Click A-Z buttons in GA037 (version 18)
Post by: ideasguy on January 25, 2008, 09:39:34 PM
I received this message from Kathy and Laurie today:

Quote
Can you check something for me please.
I have just been looking through the Alphabetical list of plants in the Master Database CD with IG Pro.  On the page GA037SO1, when I click on the following letters of the alphabet - C, E, G, L, M, N, O, T, U, a list of 11 plants appear from Abelia 'Confetti'  to Abelia zanderi  for each of the above letters.

If I click on ALL at the beginning of the alphabet, then all the plants are listed from A-Z.
Is there something I have missed, like a re-index button for example

I innvestigated, and I'm embarassed to say, I found the same bug. :-[
I was rather surprised I hadnt found it myself, because I use that program daily.
I dont use the A to Z buttons much, as I prefer to key in a few characters in the Search fields at the bottom of the screen.

Anyway, I fixed the bug. (It was caused when I made a program change recently- occasionally that can happen  :'()
You can download the latest version (19)  here:

Thanks for reporting that one Kathy and Laurie.
If you folk spot anything that doesent work as expected, please let me know.

Kathy & Laurie have informed me that I had the default installation folder for the download set to the folder for IG Pro 3 and 4.

If you downloaded since yesterday, and you didnt change the installation folder (you can do this during the installation) and cant find where GA037 went, you may find it here:
c:\program files\ideasforgardens\ifg_igp
- OR -
you can download again.
Ive now amended the download, By default its now points to:
c:\program files\ideasforgardens\Ideas Genie Pro 5
i.e. If you have IG Pro 5, you dont have to manually change the default installation folder. The installer will install the program in the correct folder for you.
