Title: The Trekfest Challenge 2013 - the Northwards Housing Team

We are very proud of our little daughter Tara.
She has been in training for some time now and the big event was on Saturday.

That's Tara on the right in the team photo and you can read her comments in the article.

She texted us at 18 miles - we were languishing in the sunshine enjoying a barbecue at Julians house :)

She spoke to us on Facetime yesterday and showed us the blisters on here feet (ouch!!).
They were unbearable for the last 4 miles of the walk.

I almost got blisters and heatstroke just reading about the terrain and weather conditions at the time  :o

That second photo says it all Laurie. I imagine an uneven surface would be much more likely to cause blisters.
She's a little champion :D
