Title: Useful Clematis site
Post by: Trevor Ellis on September 20, 2012, 03:30:50 PM
For anyone interested in Clematis a useful site is the one at Hull University ]http://www.clematis.hull.ac.uk/new-clemdetail.cfm?dbkey=552[/url]. They sometimes add interesting information/articles about say the breeder of a particular plant. An example would be Clematis 'Viola' which was bred by Uno Kivistic. By clicking in the link at the bottom right of the page it links to an article [Based in part on the obituary of Uno Kivistik by Erika Mahov for the International Clematis Society] about him together with a photograph of him and his wife Aili. Just makes things a bit more interesting/personal.
