In GA100S02, I entered the plant Anthemis tinctoria 'E.C.Buxton' (what a value for money plant - in flower all summer and still flowering even up here in the north Midlands!). However, in the 'cultivar' section, when the C and the B are entered in upper case, which would be the correct way, the output reverts to the incorrect lower case with just the initial E in caps. Anyone else find this to be so?

I find the same thing happening. Have not been able to change it. I would think that no one has asked about this so far.
Have to see what George thinks?

Is the little tick box at the end of the Cultivar entry box anything to do with it. The box is marked "Proper" and mine is ticked. :-\

Malcolm is correct!!!
Thats exactly what that little checkbox is for.
Checked/Ticked means the program makes each word capitalised (and free standing initials like E C in E C Buxton)
Simply uncheck if you need to type the name freehand.

I see it, thanks ;D

Be careful when you edit such plant names.
The check box setting is not saved, so remember to uncheck the Proper if you are editing the Cutivar name.

Thanks Geoge, not something I use a lot, but useful to know :)

Its a little irritating, so may look at it next upgrade.
I hope to do some work on selecting a species when adding, using predictive text.
In many cases, a species name is common to a number of genera.
e.g. palustris
Calla palustris
Potentilla palustris
Euphorbia palustris
Quercus palustris
Epipactis palustris
Caltha palustris
Stachys palustris
and of course we all know Eric palustris :D
We shall see :)

Copy guys - now have E.C.Buxton. Thanks Malcolm & George.
