Enter a few characters of text in the Collector/Author field.
Then Enter C, A, B or L into the CABL field. The program will tell you the meaning.
Not used a lot, I'm sure, but its there for the botanists and the purists :)

Ok - all is clear George. Strangely enough, I'd never entered anything in the collector author box until this morning when I put a couple of breeders' names in the box. Did you intend 'Author' as synonymous with breeder?

The Author is usually a botanist who studied that plant.
The Breeder name isnt considered as part of the plant name and should go in the Plant Data field in GA100S36
A plant introduced by a collector is different and is part of the plant name (hence the CABL stuff :))
