Between Midhurst and Chichester in Sussex, the West Dean Chilli Fiesta is now a massive event and the place to try out all the hot stuff! This year 9-11 August (2013). Look at http://www.westdean.org.uk/garden/news%20and%20events/chillifiesta.aspx (http://www.westdean.org.uk/garden/news%20and%20events/chillifiesta.aspx) To stroll through the walled garden is a great experience, and to see their glasshouse with a couple of hundred varieties of chillie in all shapes and sizes! Well worth it.
