Title: How to disable Cache in Google Chrome
Post by: ideasguy on April 19, 2020, 01:02:53 PM
By default, my Chrome browser was set to store pages Ive seen in Cache ::)
This is useless and downright ridiculous in my humble opinion >:(

When I upload an update to one of my websites and click a link it didn't show me the changes >:( >:(
I had to click Refresh to see the new version of the page.

With this setting if you revisit ANY website, you see the same version of the page as you did in your first visit to that website. You don't see any changes that the web site administrator has made in the meantime.
To me, This dates back to the time when internet speeds were dead slow. Now with Fast Broadband it seems ridiculous that this was the default setting.

This web page gives instructions on how to disable that wonderful feature
