Gentiana Eugen's Allerbester

This is a glorious double flowered Gentian. They need rich acid soil in sun to grow well and lflower.

That's really a gorgeous looking plant Eric, thanks for sharing that one with us.

It must be one of the best blue plants I've seen.

This prompted me to do a search on that variety and it took me to this UK web site, Christie's Alpine Nursery.
Kathy had been searching for Alpine Nurseries a few week ago that offered Mail Order.  For some reason this one had not come up.  ???  A lot she found asked for online forms to be printed off and sent to them via 'snail mail'.  Not very efficient though.

This one does do Mail Order between September and end of April, but they no longer ship to USA or Canada.

I'm bitterly disappointed to have lost all my Gentians, so its nice to see youve succeeded. Thanks for the tip!
