Hi
     i got up this morning and looked out the window there were a number of birds on the lawn possibly thrushes i am not sure (do thrush migrate) i will have to brush up on ornithology they were a large bird certainly not sparrows or finches i don't think they were blackbirds although i suppose they could have been, anyone out there with any clues as i would like to know.Come on members get posting.

I've no idea what your birds may have been, but our thrushes do migrate. We have Robins in the spring and summer and they go south for the winter. When they are gone the Varied Thrush migrates down from the mountains to winter in the lowlands. I always know that spring is here when I see my first Robin Red Breast!
Can you describe your birds a bit more specifically?
