Linnaeus was born in the 18th century.
The sexuality of the plants was the basic for their Linnaen classification.
Below the man can be admired in Lapland costume (not his daily outfit).

Ah! Yes. Swedish chap, Carl von Linne (Carl Linnaeus). The man who connected the world with his unique naming system back in 1753. Who needs to learn other languages?
