Clearing up after Ophelia
« on: October 21, 2017, 10:27:50 AM »
We did not have as much damage as parts of Ireland, but there was some.
Windy today, but we did manage to clear away a lot of the rubbish from Ophelia.

Lots of firewoood for us.

It left a big hole.

More stumps to saw.

No place to put this until I have shredded.

More to come down, but this will need a ladder.

Waiting to be shredded and the brazier.
Hope everyone over there is safe and waiting for Brian.

Odd, Brian here was just slightly more windy than usual and no more rain than on any wet day.

I discovered that we were lucky with ophelia as just down the road a large tree got blown over, and they had power out in the next village, yet we escaped the carnage
