I am certain this has been described somewhere on this forum but a couple of attempts to search for the answer were not successful.

Please just point me to the appropriate note either in a tutorial or in the form

Nice to have an Ideas Genie Pro 6 question on the forum - thank you for posting James.

Heres how its designed to work in Ideas Genie Pro 6 James:
In the Specimen profile screen GA100S23 you will find a) a Removed and b) a Perished checkbox.
Choose one of those as appropriate.
Enter a value (e.g. 2012) in the First Season and Last Season fields.
Save your changes.
Lets say you enter First season as 2012 and Last Season as 2016

Now use the program Plants and Gardens GA604.
Select the Garden Area where the specimen was grown.
Use the This garden in popup.
By default it is All (years).
The specimen will appear in the list.
If you select 2017, that specimen will not appear in that garden area.
It will appear in all years from 2012 to 2016.
Outside of those years and it will not appear.

Is that OK?
