Changing Banks
« on: January 14, 2017, 03:56:30 PM »
Recently I changed Banks, and edited all the Direct Debits to the new bank account, from the old. However, when I looked at the "Process Direct Debits" screen, I noticed all the old direct debits were showing, as though they had not been paid.(Panic!)
So I contacted George, who told me to return to the Direct Debits, in their new account, and re-edit each one, by changing the START DATE to the due date for the next payment.
When I returned to the "Process Direct Debits" screen, all the old direct debits had disappeared, as if by magic.........(Genie!)

In this climate (people Bank hopping for better interest rates and offers) I'm sure that tip will be useful to many of our users. Thank you for posting Bruce.
Going forward after resetting the START date, everything will be fine.
