Bank Genie Pro 5 Beta
« on: September 30, 2014, 09:13:19 PM »
I've just printed an end of month report using the Transaction Analyser with the Sub-Category Summarised breakdown. Sometime ago we had a problem with the last character on the right hand side of the report being partially lost on Pro 4. You corrected this on Pro 4 but it seems to be back again in version 5.

Happy New Year George

Just a couple of questions

1. When entering the password and pressing "Enter" the focus moves to the user area, i.e. the box containing in my case "admin". Could this be changed so that if "Enter" is pressed the program is loaded? This also happened in version 4.

2. Is there a way that the details of all Direct Debits and Standing Orders can be printed?

Thanks

Anthony

and a Happy New Year to you, Anthony (and all our members of course)

I'll take a look at both those requests Anthony.
In the case of (1) I presume you mean when starting Bank Genie and entering your password?

Hi

Yes it is when you enter your password.

Thanks Anthony

Have you noticed (when adding transactions manually) that you can press Enter to add or change a transaction in screen BS421S03?
That was a new feature requested by Barry.

The Enter when logging in (when a user has opted to have Password Protection set ON) could be achieved the same way.

I've just looked at the "Enter" facility on a manual transaction and it doesn't work for me or may be it does what is expected.

I entered a new transaction and used "Enter" which effectively tabbed through each box on the input screen S03 but didn't actually enter the transaction! This may be the action expected leaving you to click on the "ADD" box to actually enter the transaction. Certainly the way it tabs through the various fields from the top to the bottom of the form would provide a solution for my query about the log in screen assuming it moved from the password field to actually enter the form.

I've just noticed that the download area had a new Bank Genie Pro 5 setup program added on 5th Jan. Does this contain anything that isn't reflected in the Beta version the I'm currently using. The last update to my version was made on 30th Sept last year.

Thanks

Anthony

Barry has tested a few additional ones Anthony.
I'll set up a new download when I return home on Thursday.
