Thank you George. Yes, this lovely little chap was on our bird table last winter and I took this shot through the glass of the kitchen window.

The place is buzzing here. Santa has been  ;D and we are preparing for the younger generation to arrive and start the festivities.

Happy Christmas everyone!

I hope everyone has a lovely day. The turkey is in the oven and we reckon that we can safely go out for a few minutes for a short walk with Benji pushing Anthea's chair so we have at least a bit of fresh air. We had a rain warning but it seems quite bright at the moment. A large section of family descends tomorrow to share some cold turkey and ham.
Cheers everyone!!!

What a beautiful view Eric. Nice to see Benji has managed to take Anthea to such a perfect vantage point.

We are just home from Christmas festivities at chez Julian and Naomi (our son and daughter in law - James' parents).
The ladies are now about to sit down to watch Downton Abbey (set to record in out absence).
Its too frosty tonight, footpaths on steep hills too slippery, so I'll have to give my evening walk a miss. Mind you, I need it after all that indulgence!

Tomorrow everyone gathers here :D
Looking forward to another nice day :)
