This is by far the easiest way to backup your Bank Genie data files, and those little flash discs are very reasonable. You can carry it anywhere in your pocket, handbag or briefcase.

Here's what I did.

1. I create a folder on my Flash Disc (i: drive) called:
BGdata
The full path to these folders is:
i:\bgdata
You can change "bgdata" to another name if you wish.

2 Start Bank Genie

3 Run program System (menu tab)>System backup Folders -BS197
Please note: If you dont have this program on your menu, your menu is out of date.
Go to the Bank Genie on the Web website and download the latest menu, and be sure to download BS197. Its a new program.

3 In "Alternate Backup Folder" I click "Get a directory"
I find and select i:\bgdata

4 SAVE Changes. (BS197 closes)

5 Start the backup program BS191
Change the "backup to" pop-up to Alternate Backup Directory (folder)
Click Step 1, then Step 2 and continue to do the backup

Thats it!
