Bank Genie 4 has been released
« on: December 21, 2011, 09:55:38 PM »
Bank Genie Pro 4 was released a few months ago.
Its developed to a high specification set by BarryL and will appeal to those who have exacting requirements for Finance and Accounting analysis and reporting.
Bank Genie Pro was developed from Bank Genie 3, and many of the programs were reworked, simplified and generally enhanced.

There are many who don't need such a high specification product.
Thus, Ive now taken BG Pro and removed the programs that are new when compared to the old faithful Bank Genie 3.
Voila! Bank Genie 4.

I updated the Bank Genie 4 website yesterday.
http://www.bankgenie.net/index.html

As you can see there are now two offerings on that site - Bank Genie Pro 4 and the new Bank Genie 4.
I'm very much aware that confusion can arise when multiple products are available to a visitor on a website.
If they cant find what they are looking for, they hit the back button and go elsewhere.
Ive worked hard on making it as clean and simple as possible, but you folk can be the judge of that.

The new look website features a Bank Genie Pro 4 -versus- Bank Genie 4 comparison chart.
http://www.bankgenie.net/Features/features.html
Hopefully this will be useful to new customers and those who wish to upgrade from Bank Genie 3.
The upgrade rates are on the Buy page, and again, Ive tried to make that as simple as possible.

Ive worked on Bank Genie Pro and Bank Genie 4 since 2009 - the longest upgrade ever!

Uncluttered and informative web site George.

Easy to navigate, no confusion.  The lack of multiple sponsorship adverts and annoying pop-ups, which you see on a lot of web sites nowadays, is a breath of fresh air.

Customers should have no problem getting around.

Good job  8)

Thanks for checking it out Laurie and the thumbs up:)
I can assure everyone there will be no popups. I agree with you - they really are a pain.

As George knows, I have been quietly using Bank Genie 4 Pro since the beginning of April. I couldn't be happier with it. It does all I need and more. I wrote it a glowing report way back, somewhere on the forum, but I can't find it again.  George and Barry between them have made me a vey happy chappie  ;D

And Happy Christmas to everyone once again!!  :)

You were the first to use Bank Genie Pro Eric, after Barry and I of course.
Your glowing report was added to the User Comments here:

That made that hard work worth while!

Enjoying a quiet and enjoyable family evening here - Tara arrived home this evening from Manchester, for Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Happy Christmas to all!

Thanks Barry, and many thanks for your contribution - advice, guidance, support and countless hours spent in testing over this past three years. It was the most arduous and technically challenging upgrade Ive undertaken on any of my software items. I spent much longer on the upgrade than I did on the original product.
