Nikon D90 and Tamron 90mm 2.8 macro lens handheld

Geranium Blue Sunrise

The leaves don't stay this colour, just when they are new.

...and to good effect, I have to say :)
It sure is a Bright Gem ;D

Since the tulips are side on, were you flat on the ground again for that one?

Not flat on the ground this time George, as too many plants in the way, just a kinked neck and half an eye to the viewfinder.
But worth the pain.  ;D

The average surfer has no idea about the extremes web masters go to when it comes to taking all those photos they just happen to find on the net ::)

Excellent photos.
The Geranium Blue Sunrise - introduced by Blooms a few years ago from Dutch Plantsman Hans Kramer.

His nursery is well worth a visit if you are ever in the Netherlands. :)

Found it on their website Paul (eventualy)
Havent managed to get a direct link to add here for the page its displayed on (Ive never seen so many frames on one web page!).
However, from the page, heres the description:
Quote
I see it also has the AGM 8)
On the page, I see a photo of the whole plant and a photo of the leaf.
Not as good as yours Malcolm ;)

Thanks for the info on G. 'Blue Sunrise'  Paul, I will add that to our review page for the plant when I next update. I am not updating so often recently, as you may have noticed George, that I am having to add some text manually to the Plants and Plant menu htm pages, as we are getting a lot of visitors arriving on those pages.

Glad you both liked the pictures.
I am reluctantly starting a Blog page on our website, which will have plenty of pictures, as you know I take quite a few. They are then mostly confined to hard drives, no one sees them. Plenty of room on our webspace, only used 10% of the 1.5gb

That photo of Blue Sunrise really is good.
How do you find Blue Sunrise does in your garden, it is one of my favorite Geraniums alongside Ann Folkard.

Paul

Lyn says the plant is rather lax here, could be the watering we do, and of course the plant has some near neighbor's.
