I had an email from Jessie this morning wishing use a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
We had communicated before Chrstmas and I asked the question:
What do they do in Singapore at Christmas time?
Is it a holiday?
Heres a short extract from her reply, and I have asked Jessie to post it all. As always with Jessies crrespondence, it is heart warming.
All religions join in this joyous celebrations.
The main "High Street" - Orchard Road is closed to traffic
and deck up with all the Xmas decorations Xmas
