Its been a long time since I updated my www.ideasforgardens.com website so I'd like to do a very much overdue change of the photo on the home page for starters.
I was going to trawl through my photos but then thought I'd ask the folk on the forum if anyone would like to share a "Christmassy" photo. Full credits of course and links where appropriate.
Whats "Christmassy"? Well, it would be interesting to see what you think!

Its perfect for a gardening website, Malcolm!
How did you get that little fella to pose on those pots Cheesy

I was thinking after I posted this topic that if there is a "pick and choose" situation with more photos, well its not really a problem. I can use them all, spread over my various websites.

Is it OK to download that image? If yes, I'll get to work on it this evening Malcom.

Thanks Malcolm. Glad it meets your approval.
Its the first update for ages! I had to retrace the organised procedure I had in place.
For each photo I put on that Photo of the Week spot, there are three variations.
1) The photo for the Home page
2) A larger picture as the target when you click the photo on the home page (try it and see)
3) A thumbnail for the Archives page, when the Photo of the Week is replaced (click on the Archives link).

So, I'm going to use the Ideas Genie Pro program GA051 - Resize photos next time.
After I did that resizing three times I realised GA051 is a very userful tool for web developers! It does all that Cool
I also used Snagit to do a little bit of resizing. I changed the aspect ratio to squeeze the height a little.
I also used Snagit to add the text (Merry Christmas and the Copyright info.) It is very easy to use.

Now the home page is updated, theres an awful lot of work required on the other pages. But, after Bank Genie is released it will be all go Gardening Software again  Cheesy
