Clematis Scartho Gem.

Quite a lot of the group 2 clematis starting to flower now.
The high winds here for the last 3 days has been causing some damage to the flowers.

Scartho gem is looking good though, never a very strong plant, like a lot of group 2.

Some sunshine today brought out the colour of the flowers.

You're getting the strong winds we're experiencing Malcolm, maybe not the same intensity as you but quite prolonged and pretty much every day for the past few weeks.  >:(

Your clematis seems to be riding out the extreme weather conditions so far.
