When Flower Genie 3 is installed, you will find a new Flower Genie 3 icon on your desktop. Start Flower Genie 3. You will need to re-register. You dont need a new licence.
Use your original Flower Genie licence number. Get in touch by email if you need a reminder.
Instructions:
Click System Tab on Menu.
Start the program Import and Upgrade - FG204
Click the Help button in the screen which appears and read about the upgrade process.
The folder settings (new and old) should be correct.
Click the Do Test button. You should get a message indicating that the files are OK
Click the Start the Upgrade button The program does the import and upgrade. In one step, data from your OLD Flower Genie installation is imported into the
Flower Genie 3 environment, then upgraded.
And thats it!
More info: Both the old version of Flower Genie AND Flower Genie 3 will be fully operational on
the same computer. When you are happy that all is well in the Flower Genie 3 environment, you can uninstall the old version.
